Workshop Description:
This workshop will explore hand building clay techniques (pinch, slab, drape, and coil) to create either an ice cream sized bowl or a 4x5 tile (no pottery wheels). Working with raw clay (greenware) participants will receive instruction in additive and subtractive processes. Price includes enough clay for one project, fired and glazed. Facilitators will fire and glaze each piece in one color. Allow three weeks after the workshop for processing.
Participants will be notified when items will be available for pick up.

Place: Art Room 238 at Gaudet Middle School
(Aquidneck Avenue Main Entrance, 2nd floor near cafe)
Cost: $20 per bowl or tile made

Pre-registration is required as space is limited.
Open to the public for persons in grade 4 through adult.
