SkimBash 2012 Coming to Sea Bright June 23-24

Just a quick reminder that SkimBash 2012 is right around the corner! It's coming up next Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24, from 9 am to 4 pm, on the Sea Bright Public Beach. This is the fourth stop on the Skim USA Pro/Am tour, and guaranteed to provide tons of thrilling, hold-on-to-your-hats skimboarding action.

ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD....KIND OF
There is still time to register to compete in the SkimBash. And this is important: you do NOT have to be a professional skimboarder to participate. This is a Pro/Am (emphasis on the AM) event, and all ages and skill levels are welcome. It's a fun chance to skimboard with other riders, and who knows, maybe win a trophy and a prize bag? Anyone who attended Jersey Shore Skim Camp last summer can surely hold their own! To register online: http://www.skimcity.com/2012-sea-bright-skim-bash/

I LIKE TO WATCH
If competing is not your thing, please come out anyway and support our local skimboarding community. You've seen these guys and girls out on the beach day after day, perfecting their skimboarding skills. Many of them are Jersey Shore Skim Camp instructors. The SkimBash is their chance to shine, and a local cheering squad is truly appreciated. Don't miss this fun family day on the beach, with music, food and giveaways, and the most thrilling skimboarding action you'll find anywhere on the East Coast.

SHOW THEM SOME LOVE
SkimBash 2012 could not happen without the support of our sponsors; please patronize their businesses. A huge shoutout to premium sponsors: Jersey Shore Skim Camp, Skim City, ZAP Skimboards, Max's Famous Hot Dogs, Woody's, Verizon, B98.5 Radio, yo mon Frozen Yogurt, Free2Ride, The Two River Times, TheSurfersView.com, Eastern Lines, and Freak Traction.

DON'T SKIM ON AN EMPTY STOMACH
Ditch the Cocoa Puffs and have breakfast on SkimBash morning at Max's! Yes, the generous folks who are donating lunch to all SkimBash riders will also be on hand early in the morning to serve hot sandwiches, bagels, and coffee. Of course they'll have pork roll, egg and cheese, it IS a New Jersey contest. The Max's truck will be parked all day in the parking lot behind Borough Hall, so please patronize them with your breakfast and lunch business.
