Sodexo at Salve Regina University Supports Local Farmers; Campus Visit by “Buttercup the Cow”
NEWPORT, Rhode Island - Eat local. Eat fresh. Enjoy locally-produced milk. Those are the messages that accompany a campus visit by Buttercup the Cow.
On Friday, April 27 from 11am to 1pm, Sodexo at Salve Regina University will host Rhody Fresh, Rhode Island’s source for fresh, locally produced milk from nine dairy farms located throughout the state. Attendees will have a chance to meet Buttercup and chat with farmers from Emma Acres Farms located in Exeter, Rhode Island.
The event will be held at Miley Hall, Salve Regina University, 100 Ochre Point Avenue in Newport.
