Bites Nearby: Cornucopia Cafe Makes Summer Outings Easy

Great box lunches.

Cornucopia Café and Catering is owned and operated by Mark and Marion Coney. Marc was executive chef at Blenheim in Middletown for 5 years. Marion came from a background of catering. Together they opened Cornucopia Café and Catering 3 1/2 years ago.

Located at 575 East Main Road, Middletown at Wyatt Square, the Cornucopia Café is easy to find and conveniently located. Stop on the way to the beach or to one of the vineyards to pick up a Box Lunch Special for only $6.50. Choose from tarragon chicken salad, ham and cheese, or tuna salad. Chips, a drink, and a cookie are included. Breakfast is served all day. Friday and Saturday night they are open for dinner until 8 p.m.

Cornucopia Café serves paninis, sandwiches and wraps, and comes with pasta salad, potato salad, chips or fresh fruit. New England clam chowder is on the menu every day along with a homemade soup of the day. Lobster salad rolls are also on the menu. They serve coffee from Coastal Roasters and luscious pastries. As the name implies, they also cater.

Check out their website, www.CornucopiaCaters.com for more menu offerings.
