Friday: Your Weekend Guide
A look at what's happening in Middletown this weekend.
- Barnes & Noble will host a Storytime with Miss Lynne featuring Mr. Willowby’s Christmas Tree by Robert Barry followed by a Christmas tree craft at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
- Start your New Year’s resolution early by learning more about Innerlight Yoga’s 40 Day Winter Warming Cleanse at their question and answer session about the program on Friday at 12 p.m.
- The Town of Middletown will host its Annual Tree Lighting at the Middletown Senior Center on Friday at 6 p.m. The MHS band, Silveira Nursery School, and The Dawn Tones Senior Choral Group will all perform. There will also be a reading of “The Night Before Christmas,” Santa will arrive by fire truck, and a buffet will be served. This is a free event.
- The Middletown Library will host a Gingerbread and Cocoa Storytime aimed at children ages 4 and up on Saturday at 11 a.m. The program is free, but registration is required and can be done by calling 846-1573.
- The Potter League will host a Holiday session of Dancing With Your Dog on Sunday at 11:30 a.m. The class is $10 and is open to dogs ages five months and up. Please register in advance by calling 846-8276.
