HEALTH Recommends Two Middletown Beach Closures
HEALTH has recommended the closure of two Middletown beaches:
HEALTH recommended the closure of Peabody's Beach in Middletown and Third Beach in Middletown to swimming due to high bacteria counts.
Officials will continue to monitor the water quality and recommend re-opening when the areas are safe for swimming. Water quality analysis is conducted by the HEALTH laboratory or a state certified laboratory.
