This is more than just a game, it's an event. With hundreds of spectators in the stands, the smell of popcorn in the air and the school's fight song creating a natural rhythm in the stands, the MHS community was primed for the win against Lincoln this Friday early evening.
The Lions came to Middletown looking to end their losing streak and break the Islander's winning streak but their hopes were dashed early on in the game. The first touchdown was thrown by QB Justin Sellar and brought in by Randy Butler. Game play continued it's exciting trek with the bobbing and weaving style of Justin Bailey who took advantage of the Islander offiensive line. Middletown beat Lincoln 61-8.
