This week is your last chance to grab tickets to newportFILM’s May mini-fest at the Jane Pickens Theater.
The weekend of film runs Friday and Saturday night with screenings for all ages.
Friday begins with a pre-release screening of Marina Abramovic: The Artist is Present at 7 p.m. followed by a Q&A with producer Marcus Ricci.
For the kids, A Cat in Paris will play on Saturday at 1 p.m. The film was nominated for a 2012 Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
The Potter League has also partnered with newportFILM with a pre-release screening of Quill: The Life of a Guide Dog, screening at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Under African Skies will end the mini-fest weekend on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
