The Middletown High School Girls Varsity Tennis team won their senior night contest, 5-2 against East Providence. 

Islander seniors included Madeleine Molenda at second singles, Kelly King at first doubles, and Emily Galvin at third doubles. 

Taking home wins were all four singles players:  Sarah Bertsch, Madeleine Molenda, Bridget Rinkel, and Caroline Benson. 

First doubles, Tara Lomardi and Megan Tessier played an amazing match.  After dropping the first set they fought back to win the second 6-3 which put them into a tie breaker for third set.  Tara and Megan won the tiebreaker in an incredible win 11-9 after being down 1-5.
