Why is there even a school zone on east main road? Noone slows down, and it certainly is not enforced. In fact, when I slow to 20-25, I get irate drivers swerving around me or making hand motions and yelling for being stuck behind me.

Don't let them discourage you, or force you into breaking the law. We need the school zone there, it just needs to be ENFORCED! If the Town really wants to make some money, here's a golden opportunity. Enforce the school zone and fine the scofflaws.

Charles, I agree. It was in a sarcastic tone when I asked why it was even there. I drive through twice a day and it is way out of control.

I'm just waiting for someone to yell or "make hand motions" at me for slowing down to the posted speed limit in a school zone. If they blow by me I'll be on my cell to the police with their license plate number as soon as I can pull off the road! Not to pick on people from MA, but they seem to be among the worst offenders. These people need to realize that our children's and grandchildren's lives are worth a lot more than a few seconds of their time.
