Newport Police Log: Middletown Man Charged with Threats
The following is based on reports from the Newport Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Jacob Trifero, 32, of 14 Bayview Park, Middletown, was arrested around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19, for a disorderly threats charge.
A stop was put out for Trifero after he reportedly made threats with a knife. He also implied he had a gun, witnesses said.
He was arrested outside of Festival Field.
