A snow-parking ban that went into effect at 6 a.m. in Middletown will remain in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday.
According to a post on the town's website, vehicles parked on the street in violation of the snow ban may be ticketed and towed to allow the passage of town plow trucks and emergency vehicles. The parking ban is in effect until 1 a.m. Sunday to allow for the removal of accumulated snow.
In addition, at the request of the Middletown Public Works Department, residents are reminded not to deposit snow into any state or town road because it contributes to hazardous driving conditions.
