The Middletown Historical Society is seeking photographs from Middletown taken before the 1950s.

The photos, which would be loaned and returned, will be considered for possible inclusion in a book on local history to become part of the popular Arcadia Publications’ "Images of America" series, according to the Middletown Historical Society website. The Middletown Historical Society is working with Dr. Christine Haverington on the book.

Images may include pre-1950s Middletown people, places, events and activities.
