Middletown Superintendant Rosmarie Kraeger said that guidance, nurses, social workers and school psychologists will be available Monday to support students that might have questions or anxieties about Friday morning's shooting tragedy in Newtown, Conn. 

She also asked principals to be vigilant about doors being properly closed and to review safety plans.

"This is a very tragic situation that will cause anxiety for us all," said Kraeger.  "Our thoughts and prayers to all those affected by this horrible situation.
