Sections of Sachuest Point Visitor Center Temporarily Closed
The following information was provided by the Sachuest Point Visitor's Center regarding closures beginning today to prepare for new exhibits.
The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service is currently working on exhibits for Sachuest Point Visitor Center. As part of this work, sections of the visitor center will be closed beginning today, February 21, 2012. The front entrance, lobby and main exhibit hall will be closed for approximately 4-6 weeks. However, the north side entrance to the restroom and classroom will remain open to visitors.
This work is being done to reconfigure the area for the new exhibits. The actual habitat exhibits and interpretive panels will be installed in late spring.
