State Police Charge Incarcerated Middletown Man
The following was reported by the Rhode Island State Police
On Tuesday, Rhode Island State Police charged ACI inmate Andre Dupree, 22, of 117 Lake Erie Street, Apartment B, with being a fugitive from justice out of Massachusetts. According to state records, he was convicted of a felony drug charge after an arrest made by the Newport Police Department in September
Dupree was wanted by the Fall River District Court for a violation of probation on original charges of: three counts of assault with a dangerous weapons; three counts of larceny and a drug violation near a school or park.
Dupree was released on $5,000 personal recognizance to the custody of his attorney with the condition that he respond directly to Fall River District Court to answer to the charges.
