Thursday: Kids Eat Free and Travel to Asia

A look at what's happening in and around Middletown today.

 


1. Take a trip to Asia at Rough Point and learn about Doris Duke’s travels to and collections from India, China, Thailand and Japan during mini-talks with the curators in the galleries.

2. The annual fundraiser for Women's Council of Realtors Newport & Kent County chapters will be held at Easton's Beach to benefit Save the Bay.

3. Kids eat free today after 5 p.m. at Easton's Point Pub & Restaurant.

4. Today in high school sports: the Middletown High School boys' varsity lacrosse team takes on The Prout School; and the boys' varsity baseball team and the varsity fastpitch softball both play Portsmouth High School.

5. Expect showers and fog with temperatures in the mid-60s today, according to the National Weather Service.
