Tuesday: America's Cup Lecture and Atlantic Cup Boats

1. Stan Honey, Director of Technology for the America’s Cup, will make a special appearance at IYRS to talk about “The Technology Behind the America’s Cup: TV Graphics, Race Operations and Umpiring.”
2. Michael's is hosting a 2-hour workshop in painting with acrylics. All levels of skill are welcome and no experience necessary.
3. Stop by the Newport Shipyard between 9am-5pm daily to see the boats and meet the skippers of the Atlantic Cup, the largest Class 40 fleet ever to race in the United States with boats from France, Germany, England, and the U.S.
4. Today in high school sports: the varsity fastpitch softball team takes on Rogers; the boys' varsity baseball team plays Coventry; and the boys' varsity outdoor track team competes in a MEET for the Freshman State Championships.
