The Gaudet Student Council has been making it's list and checking it twice to ensure that the children from Forest Avenue and Aquidneck Elementary Schools received a golden ticket to take a wonderful ride to the North Pole this weekend. 

The children were treated to warm chocolate chip cookies, hot cocoa, enough activities to line the cafeteria up and down twice over and a terrific visit from the man in the red suit.  With the help of adult volunteers from the community, student volunteers from both Gaudet and Middletown High School, Student Council advisor and grade six teacher, Heidi Gauch was delighted to see the smiles on the faces of the children and their parents alike.

With only one week to the holiday break, it was evident that everyone who participated were happy to share a moment of joy as a community.
