A little basketball and a little friendly rivalry were the makings of a fun filled evening when members of the girls and boys Islander Basketball teams took the court against members of the MHS faculty and staff.

Why do this?  Because it's fun! At least that seemed to be the consensus of students and adults alike who participated in the event as organizers and as fans.

You might be surprised to discover that the game was only won by the student team in OVERTIME!  The students edged out the teachers 69 - 66. 

We'll have to wait until next year to see if the faculty are up to a comeback win,
