DESCRIPTION:The Artists' Ball\, a tradition at the Newport Art Museum for
  decades\, returns during the Museum's centennial year on Saturday\, May
  12\, 2012 after a hiatus of several years and under the billing\, "Esta
 blished 1920 - Remixed 2012." The Museum is inviting everyone who values
  Rhode Island's creative community to join in this celebration. Co-chair
 s Alexander (Sandy) Nesbitt and Christopher (Chris) Wyllie are encouragi
 ng "alter egos\, costumes and bold attire."\nThe Artists' Ball 2012 feat
 ures DJ JR\, burlesque performers Kristen Minksy &amp\; the TropiGals\, 
 hors d'oeuvres and sweets\, complimentary signature cocktail and a cash 
 bar.&nbsp\; Sculptures by Rhode Island artists Jerold Ehrlich and Peter 
 Diepenbrock will be exhibited during the Artists' Ball. A selection of l
 arge-scale original silkscreen prints by a variety of artists will be av
 ailable in the Museum's Elizabeth Conklin Museum Shop during the event. 
 The Artists' Ball runs from 8pm to midnight at the Museum's John N. A. G
 riswold House\, 76 Bellevue Avenue\, Newport\, RI. Tickets cost $60 in a
 dvance and $80 at the door.&nbsp\;The Artists' Ball is supported in part
