The Middletown Education Collaborative (MEC) will hold its 2012 Grants Showcase and Annual Meeting at the Forest Ave. Elementary School Learning Center, Forest Ave. Middletown, RI on May 9, 2012 from 6pm to 8pm.
Join us as we showcase and celebrate the commitment to education of our Middletown teachers, students, parents and entire Middletown community. We have an exciting evening planned as we will present both the 2012 Educator of the Year Award and the 2012 MEC Scholarship Award, presented to a graduating Middletown High School senior. You will also meet our newest Board members and our new executive committee.
This year’s Grant Showcase will feature several Middletown teachers who will display the grants they were awarded over the past year. See what Middletown’s students and teachers were able to accomplish with the help of the MEC grants.
This event is free and open to the public. We encourage families to attend, especially the children attending our schools. Please come and see what your child’s teacher is doing to promote and increase creative learning in, and outside of, the classroom.
For more information, please contact Cris Offenberg at 401-258-6626.
We look forward to seeing you at the Showcase!
