DESCRIPTION:The Newport Art Museum's "Music in the Galleries" concert ser
 ies continues on Sunday\, May&nbsp\;20 at 2 pm\, with the&nbsp\;MSD Quin
 tet\,&nbsp\;in the Museum's Griswold House\, 76 Bellevue Avenue\, Newpor
 t.&nbsp\;\nBased in Newport\, Rhode Island\, the MSD Quintet performs en
 ergetic contemporary jazz in venues across Southern New England. With in
 fluences from the Yellowjackets\, Herbie Hancock and Miles Davis along w
 ith Rock and R&amp\;B sounds from the sixties\, MSD Quintet has created 
 their own unique sound. The MSD&nbsp\;Quintet&nbsp\;includes Michael Joh
 nson on keyboards\, Peter Davis on bass\, D.J. Cordeiro on drums\, Jon L
 avieire on tenor sax\, and Doug Woolverton on trumpet/ flugelhorn.&nbsp\
 ;Admission is $10 for Newport Art Museum members and $15 for non-members
 . No reservations are necessary\, but seating is on a first-come\, first
 -served basis.
