DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with member organizations of the East Bay Fa
 mily Care Community Partnership (FCCP)\, Newport County Community Mental
  Health Center (NCCMHC) will sponsor its first-annual &ldquo\;May Is Men
 tal Health Month 5K Fun Run&rdquo\; Saturday\, May 12\, at 10 a.m. to ra
 ise funds for services at NCCMHC and generate awareness of mental health
  services and treatment options provided to the greater Newport County c
 ommunity. NCCMHC is a non-profit comprehensive behavioral health organiz
 ation established in 1964 serving individuals and families residing in N
 ewport County. We offer emergency assessments\, psychiatric evaluations 
 and medication management\, psychotherapy and mental health counseling\,
  intensive community-based treatment\, substance abuse treatment\, case 
 management\, day treatment for adults and children\, group home living a
 nd subsidized housing for adults.&nbsp\; Along with NCCMHC\, member orga
 nizations of the East Bay FCCP include: The&nbsp\; ast Bay Center\, Chil
 d and Family Services and East Bay Community Action Program.\nThe run/wa
 lk will start and finish at Newport County Community Mental Health Cente
 r. For those wishing to watch the event and offer their support to parti
 cipants and this beneficial cause\, spectators are welcome at the start/
 finish of the run/walk at NCCMHC. Supporters and participants can also v
 isit informational booths hosted by East Bay FCCP members to learn more 
 about the hope and stability these services provide to adults\, children
  and families&nbsp\;in need. A 50-50 raffle will also be held the day of
  the event and tickets will be sold at $1 each or 6 for $5!\nRegistratio
 n is now open online at Active.com keyword &ldquo\;NCCMHC.&rdquo\; Cost 
 is $20 per individual on or before May 9th. Event-day registration will 
 also be available from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m for $25. Free t-shirts will be g
 iven to the first 75 registrants. Water and refreshments as well as rest
 room facilities will also be available at the start/finish line. Donatio
