This fun photography and walking workshop starts with going over your camera and its functions so that you can understand how to get the images you want. We go over previous photos you have taken to better understand what you already know, then hike at NBS, while we photograph and put it into use what you learned. This is a hands on workshop for anyone who has been wanting to take better pictures. You must have y our own camera of any kind.

More About Norman Bird Sanctuary
Established in 1950, the Norman Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit wildlife refuge that plays a vital role in environmental education and "place-based science" in Rhode Island. The 325-acre refuge is the largest open space preserve in Newport County. It is home to over seven miles of hiking through diverse habitats as well as many special and educational events throughout the year.
