  Island Sustainability!\nSustainable Aquidneck is a non-profit organizat
 ion whose mission is to move Aquidneck Island toward self-sufficiency. W
 e intend to promote an island wide sustainable practice initiative and t
 o collaborate with the community to create local solutions to our enviro
 nmental\, social and economic problems. We are an all-volunteer group th
 at is dedicated to promoting sustainable practices.\nOur primary project
  in 2012 is Island Community Farms @ Green End. We have secured a 5 year
  lease with the Aquidneck Landtrust for 8.5 acres of pristine farmland i
 n Middletown RI. With this land we will grant access to micro farmers wh
 o will bring their fresh local produce to market.\nPlease join us on Jun
