Dr. Barbara Roberts, director of the Cardiac Center at Miriam Hospital will discuss the use of statin drugs to lower cholesterol,April 28th at 2:00 pm at the Newport Public Library, Spring St., Newport.
This program is open to the public and will be in the lower level Program Room. This room is handicapped accessible.
Dr. Roberts will also discuss her new book "The Truth About Statins: Risks and Alernatives to Cholesterol-lowering Drugs". She will answer questions and sign her book as well.
