Winter Constellations at NBS
This program will start out in the classroom with instructor Kim Botelho where you'll learn about the life-cycle of stars and stories of the constellations before heading out for a night hike to search for them.This program is suitable for children ages 8 and up.
Admission is $3 for members and $5 for non-members. Pre-registration and payment are required.

More About Norman Bird Sanctuary
Established in 1950, the Norman Bird Sanctuary is a non-profit wildlife refuge that plays a vital role in environmental education and "place-based science" in Rhode Island. The 325-acre refuge is the largest open space preserve in Newport County. It is home to over seven miles of hiking through diverse habitats as well as many special and educational events throughout the year.
