Free Hospitality Training Program Posts Info Sessions Dates

Newport Skills Alliance (NSA), a program of East Bay Community Action Program, will offer a free Hospitality Training Program for Rhode Island residents with a High School diploma or GED, who are 18 years of age or older.

Training includes: computer instruction, career counseling, internships, and job search assistance.  Program certifications include: S.T.A.R.T. Certification (American Hotel & Lodging Association), ServSafe ® Food Handlers, ServSafe ® Alcohol, First Impressions: Exceptional Customer Services TM, and Hospitality: 3rd Language TM.

In order to be eligible participants must attend one of the scheduled information sessions:

November 13, from 10-11:30 am, Newport Public Library, Program Rm, 300 Spring St., Newport
November 18, from 11 am- 12:30 pm, Florence Gray Center, Rm 5, One York St., Newport
November 19, from 10-11:30 am, Newport Public Library, Program Rm, 300 Spring St., Newport
November 20, from 1:30-3 pm, Florence Gray Center, Rm 5, One York St., Newport
