Roving Eye International Film Festival

The seventh annual student-run Roving Eye International Film Festival is being held on campus April 22- 26th sponsored by FLICKERS:Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) and Roger Williams University (RWU). Screenings of more than 50 international films will take place on campus at Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. Admittance is free but donations will be accepted for the Jeffery Coombs Memorial Foundation, which assists families who are in financial need because of death, illness or other situations that challenge the family budget. Roving Eye International Film Festival will cover hot topics in today’s media such as: returning veterans from the War on Terror. The films Coming Home: The Human Face of War, Incident in New Baghdad, and Killing in the Name all focus on veterans and the War on Terror with panel discussions after the screenings. 

The same day as the veteran programming 78 Days  and Dying Green will be screened in celebration of Earth day. The Concert  an RWU HILLEL / SOFORENKO FOUNDATION FILM will also play opening day. After the screening of these films an opening reception will be held as a kick-off for the Festival.
