Naval Station Newport and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation present the "Salute to Summer ," Concert and Fireworks, extravaganza at the Naval Station's Dewey Field, featuring the Navy Band Northeast. Bring family, friends, lawn chairs & blankets!
The general public should enter through Gate One beginning at 4:30 p.m. Patrons with DoD decals may enter through any open gates. Coolers, back packs, pets, outside food and beverages are NOT allowed. The Naval War College Museum will also be open that evening for visitors.

- Wayz & Means performs from 5-7 p.m.
- Navy Band Northeast performs from 7:30 p.m. to dusk
- Fireworks at dusk
- Concessions & Kids Area (bouncies, games & face painting $2 per child)
