SHAW’S Supermarkets on East Main Road celebrated the grand reopening on Friday morning.
“Shaw’s is committed to providing a shopping experience that delivers the products and services that are important to our local customers,” said Middletown Store Director George Pelletier. “The improvements were made to bring a greater selection and variety to our Middletown neighbors, and highlight initiatives like our fresh produce and seafood offerings. We look forward to continuing to provide the freshness, convenience and value shoppers expect.”
Management said the newly remodeled store has more to offer in many categories which will provide customers with a large selection of the freshest produce and seafood as well as expanded variety in deli and baked goods. They said the new format also offers a comfortable shopping experience with a local focus.
“In short, the remodel consisted of an updated look of bakery as well as expansion of the variety offered in our meat, seafood, produce and deli sections,” said Steve Sylven, a store’s spokesman. “The reason for the remodel is all tied to Shaw’s commitment to provide the freshness, convenience and value our shoppers expect,” he said.
