People's Credit Union Official Credit Union Sponsor of Newport Skating Center

People’s Credit Union is pleased to announce that it is the official Credit Union sponsor of the Newport Skating Center for the 2013-2014 season.  Through this sponsorship, People’s Credit Union invites the entire community to skate for free on Monday nights from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., December – March. 

“Enhancing the communities we serve is a core value at People’s Credit Union and we feel fortunate to be able to provide this fun activity to the community.  We hope everyone gets out on the ice this winter and takes advantage of this opportunity,” commented Ellen Ford, People’s Credit Union President & CEO. 

The Newport Skating Center, located right in the middle of downtown Newport, is larger than the rink at Rockefeller Center and has a free parking lot located at the Newport Yachting Center. Ice skate rentals and on-site concessions are also available.
