this country is becoming an obomanation. I seem to recall some president saying "ask not what my country can do for me, rather what can I do for my country". Now it's all about I'm entitled to $$$ and not have to pay anything in return. I would rather watch cartoons.

Sorry Chmn some of us aren't as lucky as you. I have 3 kids and have been on public assistance for years. I am a minority and have suffered through oppression and haven't had the same opportunities as some of you. If you want to call it entitled then go ahead. Yes I voted for Obama because I know he cares about me and my kids.

Lovely narrow-minded and misinformed opinions are what is taking down your party....keep it up!!
Chmn January 22, 2013 at 02:07 PM
Who are your oppressors?
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 02:37 PM
The inability to imagine a life lived under different circumstances than your own is the single biggest flaw in the ideology of the right.
Good Year January 22, 2013 at 02:58 PM
You say you had limited opportunities. Didn't we the taxpayers pay for your free education. Are we to be blamed for your irresponsible behavior.
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 03:02 PM
Good GOD you people!!! You don't even know this person! Yet based on the fact that she stated she's on public assistance and is a minority you pronounce she is irresponsible?! And because she went to school she should....what? Be like you?! The ignorance on this site is astounding. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Good Year January 22, 2013 at 03:51 PM
Sorry Bimblels, it is irresponsible to have children when you are not financially stable. It certainly isn't fair to the kids. So yes we are paying for her irresponsible behavior.
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 04:02 PM
Sorry Good Year, but you are not supreme judge on all those less fortunate than you. How do you know what this woman's circumstances were when she had her children? How do you know she didn't get a divorce and her ex isn't a deadbeat dad? How do you know she didn't lose her job and has been unable to find another one? How do you know she didn't have an illness or injury without insurance that bankrupted her? I could list the possibilities ALL DAY. Would you please stop passing judgment without knowing ANY of the circumstances? Can you NOT assume that because one is a minority on public assistance they are irresponsible or lazy? Can you stop being judgy for 2 seconds and try to imagine that not everyone shares your life experience and isn't going to arrive at the same circumstances, conclusions or beliefs?
Good Year January 22, 2013 at 05:17 PM
Liberalism has created generations of dependency. Do you really think you are helping people by keeping them in poverty by means of welfare. These poor kids have no future because of this culture the liberals have created. Virtually no chance at realizing their potential and condemned to a life of entitlements like the past generations.
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 07:29 PM
Yes Good Year, that's it. The Liberals have this big conspiracy going on to keep people poor so we can keep them dependent on the government. You caught us red handed. And I (as a liberal) go around calling out bad behavior on the internet while also striving to create as awful of a culture as possible for those poor kids. You're a genius. You are making vast generalizations about a very complex problem. Poverty creates dependency and "liberals" are not the ones responsible for keeping poor people poor - sorry. But your over simplistic analysis of the problems in our society today does nothing to actually address the problem...I'm all ears. And again, I state, you are making judgments on THIS PARTICULAR poster without knowing anything about her situation. You form your opinion based on your prejudice. It's disgusting.
Good Year January 22, 2013 at 08:05 PM
You liberals get so angry. Cheer up, Obama was just sworn in yesterday, so you get four more years of radical left wing policies. Congress just approved a large tax increase and RI is going to pass same sex marriage. You can also count on whatever city or town you live in will certainly raise your property tax rate again this year. Everything is wonderful on the left so enjoy it.
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 08:33 PM
Haha I'm still doing the happy dance I started back in November and have been waiting for 4 years for that zombie apocalypse that has yet to transpire. What makes me mad are small minded ultra right prejudiced opinions posted online - that you would never have the guts to say to her face.
Good Year January 22, 2013 at 08:52 PM
Please stop passing judgment without knowing the facts. I would have no problem saying that to dphs18. Unlike a liberal, I say what I think without being concerned about OFFENDING someone.
bimbels January 22, 2013 at 09:01 PM
Clearly.
