Local Wi-Fi Hotspots - Where Are They?

Where are all the local wi-fi hotspots? Let's find out.

As an iPad Touch user, I know of several local establishments in Portsmouth that have free wireless available - these include , , and the . Do you know where there are others? 

Include them in the comments below and I'll compile a list of all those I receive.

We might as well include Tiverton, Bristol and the rest of Aquidneck Island on our list, so send me those that you know about in our area. And let me know if they are free to everyone or require passwords or log-ins.

The Daily Shake, 883 West Main Rd. has wireless. Opposite Hess/Staples next to Verizon, Pedal Power, just ask the Aussie guy for the password....

Rhea's Cafe has free Wifi to all customers. They are located at 36 Aquidneck Ave, across from Aquidneck Pizza. They are open April 1st - October 31. They have leather couches to sit on and great coffee. A great place it sit and relax with your smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Middletown Public Library has free wi-fi, fresh-brewed Keurig coffee for just a buck and they're open 7 days a week! Comfy seats by the fireplace and in the quiet reading area by the windows.

And in good weather, it's not unusual to see people sitting on the steps with their laptops taking advantage of the WiFi, especially after hours! Thanks Ann!
