Berkeley Avenue and Section of Green End Avenue Closed for Construction

The following was provided by the Middletown Police Department

The Middletown Public Works Department has announced the closure of Berkeley Avenue and a large section of Green End Avenue for construction purposes. Dates of construction will be December 5 until December 25, 2012. The hours of construction will be between 7AM-6PM, Monday through Friday.

Green End Avenue:

Will be closed between the intersections of Paradise Avenue and Third Beach Road. Alternate travel routes include Turner Road northbound from Green End Avenue, Paradise Avenue southbound from Green End Avenue and Third Beach Road both north and southbound.

Berkeley Avenue:

The entire length of Berkeley Avenue, Green End Avenue to Wyatt Road will be closed.  Alternate travel routes include Turner Road both north and southbound to and from Green End and Wyatt Road to Mitchell’s Lane to Third Beach Road.

Middletown Police Department Personnel will be on site and controlling traffic.  Residents of the affected areas will be assisted in and out of the work zone.  No through traffic will be allowed.
