Free Car Seat Installation Clinic, Dodgeball Fundraiser and Playoffs Get the Weekend Started

Here's what's happening in Middletown.

Here are five things to know as the weekend gets started:

  1. The battle is on! The Middletown High School National Honor Society will hold a Spring Dodgeball Tournament Fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. Friday. Teams have already registered, but spectators are welcome and raised funds will go to the NHS charity of choice.
  2. Also at the high school today, a big afternoon rally for the girls basketball and boys hockey teams will pep them up for play-offs, which begin Friday night for boys hockey and Monday for girls basketball.
  3. On Saturday, the Middletown Police Department and Cardi’s Furniture Mattresses will team up to host a free car seat installation clinic.
  4. There's a slight chance of rain showers Saturday and Sunday with an even greater likelihood of rain Sunday night. At least it's not snow.
