Police say two are dead and over 130 injured in the Boston blasts. During the incident, former Newport resident Meshelle Chabot texted Patch, "There is a second bomb right in front of us, waiting on the bomb squad.  Not leaving, if they are terrorists and they are still around, they will be shooting."
