Could Rhode Island see a white Christmas?

The odds are relatively ylow, according to Cornell University's Northeast Regional Climate Center. The university determined this week that the Providence area has a 30 percent chance of seeing an inch or more on Dec. 25.

That's better than Boston (a 20 percent chance), New York (12 percent) or D.C. (10 percent). But if you want the best chance at seeing snow, you'll have to head north. Pinkham Notch, NH, has a 95 percent chance.

Even if our odds are slim, we still want to believe we'll wake up to the white stuff on Christmas morning. What do you think?
