"Ruff" Point Goes To The Dogs for Potter League
Rough Point Mansion hosted its third annual Fashion Show of Canine Couture.
Polished paws were everywhere this past Thursday evening when Doris Duke’s hosted the third annual
Fourteen sets of models made their way down the runway throughout the event sporting stylish digs by local boutiques, including , J. McLaughlin, , , Sarah Campbell, Sequin, The Tennis Store at the Hall of Fame and Wish.
Doris Duke herself was a well-known animal lover and usually had 10 to 12 dogs living at Rough Point with her. The event not only served as a great season-capper but also as a celebration of Duke’s life in Newport.
