An 18-year-old Newport man was arrested on a warrant following a SWAT team search of his home.

Elijah Devon Weeden, 18, of 90 Girard Ave. Apt. 148, Newport, was arrested on a bench warrant following a search warrant at a Festival Field apartment. The Newport Police Vice Unit received a tip that Weeden was dealing crack cocaine and possessed a hand gun.
