Saturday: Free Hazardous Waste Collection

A look at what's happening in and around Middletown.

Here are five things to do as the week wraps up and the weekend gets started:

  1. Give the gift of life today! A Blood Drive will be held today at Middletown High School from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for eligible donors ages 16 and over.
  2. This morning's Storytime with Miss Lynn at 10:30 a.m. at Barnes and Noble features "Interrupting Chicken."
  3. What's big at the box office this weekend? "The Adjustment Bureau," "Rango" and "Take Me Home Tonight" are the newest releases to play the Island Cinemas 10.
  4. Do you have old paint and electronics to clear out for spring cleaning? A free Hazardous Waste Collection open to all Rhode Island residents will be held in Warren on Saturday from 8 am to 1 p.m.
