  3. The Campbell’s Tennis Hall of Fame Championships continue today. 
  4. BINGO! The Martin Luther King Community Center in Newport offers BINGO games every Wednesday night as a fundraiser.
  5. On this date in history in 1957, Althea Gibson became the first African American to win a championship at London's All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club by winning the women's singles tennis title at Wimbledon.
