Tuesday: Wilderness Talk, Planetarium Fun Night

A look at what's going on in and around Middletown today.

1. It's Family Fun Night at the Gaudet - Krupowicz Planetarium. It starts at 6 p.m. and is $3/per person, or $2 for children under 8.

2. will speak at Forest Avenue School tonight at 7:30 p.m. about his adventures skiing, snow-shoeing, hiking and rafting through Alaska's wilderness. The session is sponsored by area Boy Scouts. Admission is $10 per family at the door.

3. The International Yacht Restoration School's four-part America's Cup lecture series continues tonight with  The session starts at 7:30 p.m. and is $7 for non-members.

4. Learn more about seed starting tonight. URI Master Gardener Mary Mason, a Master Gardener since 2002 and the former owner of Garden Gear in Middletown, will do a at 6:30 p.m. at the Portsmouth Free Public Library.
