3. Local Navy Contractor Charged in Federal Kickback Case

A Middletown defense contractor is facing federal criminal charges following an investigation into millions of dollars in kickbacks that allegedly involved the company's founder and president, a civilian Navy employee and the employee's family and associates. Click here for more information.   

4. Middletown DMV Closes

The Middletown branch of the (DMV) closed after its last day of operation on Friday. Rhode Island DMV officials said the disruption is temporary with a search underway for an alternate site. Click here to read more about the closure.
