2nd Annual Best Buddies Rhode Island Friendship Walk

Join Miss America’s Outstanding RI Teen, Ivy Shen, at the 2nd Annual Best Buddies Friendship Walk Sunday May 6, 2012 at Garden City Shopping Center in Cranston.   Teams or individuals can pre-register online now.  All pre-registered walkers who raise $50 or more will receive the Official Best Buddies Friendship Walk t-shirt.   Walk registration begins at 8.45 am with walk start at 10am.  Refreshments and entertainment will follow the event. All proceeds directly support Best Buddies programs at middle school, high school and college campuses in Rhode Island.   Best Buddies is a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  For more information about the walk visit www.bestbuddiesrhodeisland.org/walk
