International Coastal Cleanup

Join NBS in making a difference by participating in this year's International Coastal Cleanup (ICC)!  Sponsored by the OCean Conservancy, the ICC is the world's largest volunteer effort to clean up the marine environment.  During the day, volunteers will collect and record debris found on beaches and other coastal waterways.  Data collected during the Cleanup will be used to educate the public about marine debris, influence public policy and promote behavior change.
The International Coastal Cleanup plays a central role in cleaning up our oceans! The ICC will meet at the Norman Bird Sanctuary from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, September 25th. Volunteers will meet in the Apple Orchard by the parking lot, where refreshments will be provided!

If you are interested in joining the fun, please contact Nicole Lavoie at nlavoie@normanbirdsanctuary.org or (401) 846-2577 ext.32 by Wednesday, September 22.

For more information or to register, please call (401) 846-2577 or e-mail education@normanbirdsanctuary.org
