Operation Holiday Meal

The Rhode Island Blood Center and Rhode Island Community Food Bank are encouraging RI residents to bring non-perishable food items when donating blood for Operation: Holiday Meal.

The Rhode Island Community Food Bank feeds 50,000 people each month and the Rhode Island Blood Center need to collect 280 pints of blood each day to meet area needs.

Bring canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, stuffing, instant potatoes, gravy packets, pie crusts and pie fillings (nothing in glass containers) to the Rhode Island Blood Center to be distributed to Rhode Island families for the Thanksgiving holiday.
