Robert E. Cinotti, 75, of Jepson Lane, Middletown, RI, died on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Newport Hospital.
He was the husband of 52 years to Wilma (Sylvia) Cinotti.
Born in Newport, RI on October 1, 1938, he was the son of the late Victor and Eloise (Cox) Cinotti.
Mr. Cinotti was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a former Director of Buildings and Maintenance with the Newport School Department. He was a member of the Forum Lodge of Newport, the Sons of Italy, the Cushman Club of America, Boy Scouts of America and was a hobby train enthusiast.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter, Mark Cinotti and his wife Carol of Newport, RI and Donna Cinotti of Newport, RI; and his three grandchildren, Jason, Meagan and Timothy Cinotti. He was predeceased by his brother and sister, Victor and Eloise Cinotti Dawley.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 4-7 pm in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
Funeral on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 8 am from Memorial Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Joseph Church, corner of Mann Avenue and Broadway, Newport, RI. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Columba Cemetery, Brown’s Lane, Middletown, RI.
