Gray’s Ice Cream has been in business for more than 80 years.
Started in 1930 by Mrs. Annie Gray, it is now owned by Marilyn Bettencourt who still makes the ice cream in the Tiverton Rhode Island location.
It has been voted one of the 12 best places in the United States to get ice cream and "Yankee Magazine" also voted it one of the ten best spots in New England.

All that aside, it is just best to say that Gray's makes fantastic ice cream. Forty flavors and you are bound to find something you like.
Located at Tiverton Four Corners it is definitely a destination. On any warm afternoon you can be assured that there is a waiting line, but well worth the wait. Gray's started out making chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and coffee and now makes more than 40 kinds, everything from black raspberry and ginger to orange pineapple. Now they also make yogurt, sherbet and seasonal flavors.

Down through the years two of their most popular flavor were rum raisin and frozen pudding. Recently Gray's opened an ice cream parlor in Fall River, Massachusetts and there is also one on the dock in Bristol, RI.
